How to Transfer Photos Between Phone and Computer: Complete Guide

iPhone to Windows

Method 1: Via cable (easiest)

1. Connect your iPhone with a Lightning/USB-C cable

2. Unlock iPhone and accept "Trust This Computer"

3. iPhone appears in Windows Explorer as a camera

4. Open it, go to "Internal Storage > DCIM"

5. Copy your photos to your chosen folder

Method 2: Via iCloud

1. On iPhone: Settings > Photos > Enable iCloud Photos

2. On PC: Download iCloud for Windows from Apple's site

3. Sign in with your Apple ID

4. Photos appear in Windows Explorer

Android to Windows
